Dear Minisink Valley parents/guardians:

Today, Nov. 10, the district was advised by the Orange County Department of Health (DOH) that a Minisink Valley Intermediate School student, who is fully remote,  tested positive for COVID-19.  Due to mandated confidentiality guidelines, no further information can be disseminated.

Again, the student is a fully remote student. After consultation with the Orange County DOH,  no further action is required.

We continue to follow all health and safety protocols as mandated by the Orange County Department of Health.

We wish to remind you again about the importance of wearing masks, staying six feet apart from others and regularly washing your hands.

If you have questions or need to report a positive case of COVID-19, please contact your child’s building principal.

Thank you for your attention to this important information. The health, safety, and well-being of our school community remains our top priority.

Sincerely,

Brian C. Monahan
Superintendent
