Following the Aug. 12 recommendation of the Orange County Department of Health, which is supported and equally recommended by Minisink Valley’s medical director, effective immediately, and until further notice, all persons indoors in district buildings and/or transportation are required to wear a face mask regardless of vaccination status.

This COVID-19 decision has been made in the best interests of protecting all students, faculty and staff as we near the Sept. 1 opening of schools.  We continue to  believe the next few weeks will provide important information about local conditions, and we will continue to rely on the guidance of trusted medical professionals aligned with this district in addition to those on the local, state and federal levels.
