Middle school library enhances inclusivity with Japanese language character book genre labels

These translations join the Spanish and Mandarin Chinese translations book label genres created by students last year.

Creating multi-language labels has a big impact to further support an inclusive, kind, learning environment and cultural diversity awareness, explained librarian Maggie student installing Japanese language signsSpicehandler.

She also noted there’s an added bonus of giving students an opportunity to learn how to recognize  Japanese and Chinese characters and learn Spanish words.
