NHS students took the leadership role in overseeing the initiative and collection efforts in the school buildings.

“Our National Honor Society students thank everyone for their very generous donations,” said advisor Dolores Lombardo. “Your involvement inspires our NHS students to do even more for our school community and the greater Minisink Valley  community. Our students were proud to present the collected donations to Garnet Medical Center and are confident their young patients will enjoy your thoughtful kindness.”

Garnet’s pediatric staff will handout coloring books, crayons and other donated items to patients with the intention of brightening their hospital stay.
