More volleyball news! Minisink Valley finished first for the third year in a row for a ‘threepeat’ at the Warwick Invitational Multi-team tournament! They were undefeated all day and it was a great day of friendly competition!



It’s a three-set win in this season’s recent home opener for the Varsity Volleyball team over Newburgh: 25-14, 26-24 and 25-20!
Minisink Stats: Kayla Wasserman 6 kills, 7 assists, 7 Digs; Anhjela Jackson 7 kills, 1 Block, 3 Digs, 1 Ace; Chloe MarcoVecchio 3 Kills, 8 Assists, 5 digs, 2 Aces; and Angelina Rivera had 8 Digs.



Yesterday’s Girls Varsity Soccer game against Valley Central was a rematch of last year’s Section IX Championship Girls Soccer game which Valley Central won, 1-0. But the game was much more than a rematch.
The Girls Varsity Team honored former Minisink Valley Athletic Trainer Sharon Delmonico, who was Valley Central’s athletic trainer and who recently passed away from breast cancer after a six-year battle. Ms. Delmonico was Minisink Valley’s athletic trainer for seven years before moving onto Valley Central.

Congratulations to Senior Brianna Foote, who qualified to compete at the upcoming NYS competition following the team's first dual meet against Our Lady of Lourdes High School last Thursday!

•The freshman boys team placed second overall with Landon Straw winning the race and Santiago Martinez coming in third.
•In the boys varsity race, Ryan Capo and Carter Rossi both finished in the Top 20, with the team overall came in 9th place.
•In the Girl's varsity race, Kat Jones finished in the Top 20, with Kaleigh Murphy and Trinity Capo having great races.

Varsity Volleyball Coach Eve Cruz is proud to share the team won its first game in just three sets! Scores were 25-1, 25-13 and 25-15. Briana Juncaj had 7 kills, 5 aces, and 3 blocks; Chloe MarcoVecchio, 9 assists and 3 Aces; and Anhjela Jackson 6 kills, 4 digs and 1 block.! Well done!




The Varsity Flag Football team's recent, second annual Family Fun Day and Senior College Send-Off at MetLife Stadium, where over 120 people attended and tailgated together prior to the Jets vs. Giants game, a great day of camaraderie!



️The girls varsity and junior varsity soccer teams continue to be busy as season play nears! Both teams received their uniforms for the season with JV receiving new home uniforms (Varsity received new uniforms last year.) The teams also did a light workout at the pool and both teams played water polo together They also visited the computer lab to complete impact testing and wrapped up with a delicious team lunch at Cuginos!

The Girls and Boys Cross Country team is getting ready for a great season!

How cool! The Varsity Flag football team was invited to meet New York Giants players and ring the victory bell prior to the Aug. 8 preseason Giants v. Lions game! The team was honored prior to this preseason game for their tournament victory at the July 12 NYSHSFCA State championship!



Dribble, shoot, rebound... repeat! There's a lot of learning and skills development taking place at the district's Boys Basketball Camp! And, there's future varsity players in this group, too! Thank you to everyone who has made this a great experience!

Participating students had a blast at the district's Track & Field Camp! They competed in long jump, hurdles sprints and relays to demonstrate their skills they learned during the week! THANK YOU to everyone who made this experience so memorable!
