Congratulations to five Minisink Valley seniors who have signed NCAA Division I/II National Letters of Intent (NLI) on Nov. 12:

Division I
Delila Kronimus, Towson University,  Women’s Track & Field
“Delila is a two-time school record holder, holding both the indoor and outdoor pole vault records,” said Head Coach James Beck. “She is also a two-time Class A public high school state bronze medalist, earning medals in both the indoor and outdoor seasons. In addition, Delila was a Section IX, Class B champion and the Indoor Division 2 champion. Her record breaking 12-foot jump earned her the Stanner Games Outstanding Performance Award, a distinction given to only one athlete out of more than 2,000 competitors that day. Delila’s talents extend beyond the pole vault, she is also one of the top hurdlers in Section IX.”

Delila maintains a 4.0 GPA and ranks in the top 12% of her class. She is also an active member of the High School's Chapter of the National Honor Society, Varsity Club and Key Club.

Ella Michelitch, University of Oklahoma, Women’s Track & Field
“Ella is a five-time school record holder in all things jumping, including the high jump --- indoor and outdoor, long jump, triple jump, and pentathlon,” said Head Coach James Beck. “She also holds the Section IX record in both the high jump and pentathlon, as well as the New York State freshman record in the high jump. Ella is a seven-time Section IX champion, a three-time state champion in the pentathlon, and a two-time state champion in the high jump. In addition, she’s a two-time New Balance National Champion in the high jump. Last year, Ella led our team to a division championship, serving as the top scorer at every meet.”

Ella is a scholar-athlete who maintains a 4.0 GPA. She is a member of the High School’s Chapter of the National Honor Society, the Varsity Club and is the High School yearbook’s editor-in-chief.

Riley Gass, University of New Haven, Women’s Lacrosse

“Riley is an excellent defender,” said Head Coach Jessica Gurrieri. “In her junior year, she was a starter and helped contribute to the success of the team. She is a hard worker and a great team player. She is a coachable player and is always willing to help and support her teammates. I am looking forward to seeing her play her senior year and for her future lacrosse career at the University of New Haven. She will be an excellent addition to the team and they are lucky to have her.”

Riley is in the top 19% of her 2026 class. She has been on the high honor roll throughout high school and middle school. She received the grade level excellence award her freshman year.

 Chris McCauley, Lackawanna College, Baseball
“Chris has been an integral member of the baseball program for the last five years,” said Head Coach Joe D'Antono. “He was one of our top performers last year as a junior, as he led the team in a number of offensive and defensive categories, as well as a berth in the sectional playoffs. Chris is a hard working player that is a role model through his great character for the younger players in the program. We look forward to watching him this spring as a senior and know he will be a great asset for the Lackawanna program in the future.”

 Hannah Ringus, St. Thomas Aquinas College, Softball
“Hannah has been an integral part of our softball program,” said Head Coach Shana O'Gara. “She is described as extremely hardworking, leads by example and strives for excellence both on and off the field. Hannah elevates her teammates and always has a positive attitude. Her outstanding leadership makes her a cornerstone of the team.”

Hannah is a member of the High School’s chapter of the National Honor Society.
