Minisink Valley school community:

Tuesday, May 16 is the district’s annual school budget vote/Board of Education election, with new voting hours of 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. at both polling locations at Otisville Elementary Gym and the Intermediate School “A” Gym.

Please watch for signage directing you to the parking areas earmarked for voters on both campuses.

For secondary school families who drop-off their children off to school at the main campus, please be advised we anticipate additional traffic on campus. For parents looking to vote at the time they drop-off their middle/high school children, please look for signage directing you where to vote by the Intermediate School.

The elementary buildings will offer a special one-day only drop-off time of 8 a.m. (versus 8:45 a.m.) on May 16. Parents may park their cars in the designated lots and walk their children into the building. Students will be supervised until the start of the school day. The earlier drop-off time is intended to help alleviate parking congestion due to anticipated additional traffic at the normal drop-off locations.

As a reminder, junior parking on the main campus is suspended on May 16 to accommodate additional parking needs on the main campus. Notices and reminders have been sent to junior families advising them to make alternate transportation arrangements for this day only.
