Attention parents of 9th through 11th graders:
Is your child interested interested in becoming a lifeguard?
What: Pre-requisite testing to evaluate interest in potential lifeguarding courses for summer 2021
Test Includes:
- 300-yard swim (24 lengths of the HS pool)
- 2-minute treading water
- Brick dive from 7-10 feet of water (no goggles)
When: Monday June 21 or Tuesday, June 22 from 2:40 to 3:30 p.m.
Where: MVHS Pool
If enough students are interested and successfully pass the prerequisite course we will work to schedule lifeguard course(s) as needed.
Any students interested in coming in for the prerequisite testing should register by the end of the day Friday, June 18 at this link:
