Registration is talking place for the Otisville PTO’s 2023 Spring fundraiser, “The 2023 Otisville Elementary Fun Run,” which will be held Saturday, May 20 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the lower field area of the Mount Hope Town Park.

The Fun Run is an interactive physical obstacle course that students can run, walk or take at their own pace.  Along the half-mile course are fun obstacles such as hurdles to jump over, crawl under, run through along with other age-appropriate physical challenges.

Additionally, a smaller, easier course will be positioned on the tennis court for younger students or students with limited mobility or stamina. All Otisville  students are encouraged to participate.

The fundraiser includes food vendors, music, raffle baskets, a Rita’s Italian Ice/Ice Cream truck and a special performance by the WK Wilcox Magic Show in the Little League pavilion.

The  goal is to raise $10,000 to fund the enrichment and events at Otisville for the 2023-24 school year.

Otisville students who pre-register online are each guaranteed a “thank you” swag bag with a customized runner’s cooling towel, certificate of completion, a voucher for a free iced treat from the Rita’s truck, and a free raffle ticket for the kid’s raffle category.  A limited number of swag bags will be offered to day-of-event registrants on a first come, first served basis.
