Beginning with the upcoming 2023-24 proposed school budget vote on Tuesday, May 16, the Minisink Valley School District will be expanding the number of hours available for voters to cast their ballots.

New voting times are 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. in both polling locations at the Intermediate School on the district’s main campus and at Otisville Elementary.

“We want to give voters ample opportunities to cast their ballots,” said Superintendent Brian Monahan.  “We are hopeful that adding six more hours of voting time will increase opportunities for our community members to vote. Morning times may be optimal for many people who may want to stop by on their way to work, dropping their children off at school or during any morning errands they may be doing. We encourage every registered voter to come out on May 16. Your vote matters.”

Previous voting hours were 12 noon to 9 p.m.
