Thirteen High School artists to exhibit work at Feb. 10 Orange County Arts Council’s ‘Arts Build Confidence’ showcase

Thirteen High School student artists are among the artists whose work will be exhibited at the 13th annual Orange County Arts Council “Arts Build Confidence” Student Arts Showcase on Saturday, Feb. 10 at the Galleria at Crystal Run in Middletown from 10 a.m. to  5 p.m.

The exhibit will be on display at Center Court on the lower level of the Galleria at Crystal Run in Middletown.

Participating high schools will display their students’ artwork on panels. These works include oils, watercolors, mixed media, digital art and photography.

Visitors to the show are invited to participate in a “People’s Choice” competition to select a favorite work. Those pieces receiving the top three votes will be recognized for this achievement at 4 p.m.

Exhibiting High School students, and their artwork, are:

  • Riley Boice’s mixed media piece “Frankie”
  • Lexie Giakoumis mixed media piece “Shattered”
  • Syemma Mathis’ charcoal drawing “Still Life”
  • Elenna Rodriguez’s digital drawing “The Buyer’s Remorse”
  • Cailin Slowik’s photo “Point Lookout”
  • Brianna Soriano, Ashlyn Burke and Catherine Cucuzzo’s photo “Midday Blues”
  • Emerald Trejo’s print “Ash”
  • Allison Venter’s acrylic painting “Friends in High Places”
  • Elizabeth Yozzo’s mixed media piece “Valeria”
