Attention Minisink Valley school community:
During its May 6 meeting, and based on the recommendation of Superintendent Brian Monahan, the Board of Education adopted a change to the school calendar: The district is now closed on Thursday, May 27 to extend the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
This additional day was made possible because of one unused weather-related/emergency day.
The district still retains one emergency day for any unforeseen issues through the end of the school year.
