Good luck to the Varsity Cheerleaders team, which has earned a bid to compete in the Universal Cheerleaders Association’s UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship (NHSCC) in Orlando from Feb. 10 to 12.

Teams must qualify for the NHSCC through attending a UCA regional event and achieving a score allowing them the opportunity to earn a bid to attend Nationals.

“The girls worked very hard to raise funds to have the opportunity to attend this prestigious event and are extremely grateful to all of the more than 40 community businesses, families and friends for their support,” said Varsity Coach Patti  Archiere.

For more than 40 years, the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship has been the culmination of the season for cheerleaders across nationwide. It’s the most prestigious high school national championship in the country and the only high school cheerleading championship endorsed by the National Federation of State High School Association, which writes the rules of competition for most U.S. high school sports and activities.
