2022-23 free and reduced-price meal applications now available

Beginning the 2022-23 school year, Minisink Valley will return to normal, pre-pandemic ways of qualifying for free and reduced-price meals. Families can qualify for free meals through direct certification (Medicaid, SNAP) or by completing a free and reduced application.

Minisink Valley Free and Reduced-Price Meal applications

broadband iconEnrollment in free and reduced priced meals is confidential and has the added benefit of enabling families to be eligible for the Federal Communications Commission’s Affordable Connectivity Program. 

This program helps ensure households can afford the broadband they need for school and more.

Additionally, students will:

  • Receive waivers for college application fees
  • Qualify for AP exam fee reductions
  • Take a limited number of SAT exams for free

Families must submit applications for free and reduced price meals each school year. Applications may be submitted at any time before or during the school year, but we encourage families to submit their applications at the start of the to maximize the benefits.
