College biology and art are blended in inventive lesson on challenging material

biology students standing by a windowKimberly Jordan’s high school “College Biology” students are taking their scientific knowledge and creating “cell” window art, a creative way to show their knowledge on challenging college-level material!

Students recently began a unit about cells and were tasked with drawing everything they remembered about animal and plant cells on their cell artclassroom windows!  Their gorgeous (and factually accurate) and their resulting (washable) window art demonstrated their proficiency in the material, and is another way Minisink Valley faculty find inventive ways to teach!
