‘Higher risk’ sports play documents available for review; final decision to play to be made on Feb. 4

Minisink Valley athletic families:

The next steps to resume “higher risk” sports took place today, Feb. 2, when the Board of Education Athletic Committee met and made a commendation that “higher risk” sports play be approved to begin at Minisink Valley.  The full Board of Education will review this recommendation and make a decision during its Feb. 4 meeting.

In the meantime, and pending Feb. 4 Board approval, the following documents are required to be reviewed by each player’s family, with two of these documents needing to be signed and returning to your student’s coach in order to participate in practices and to play.

We are sharing these documents now in order to give families ample time to review, sign and return to us. Please note: These signed documents are required.

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding.
