The May 16 Minisink Valley District Art Show will not only showcase the work of over 700 students from all five buildings, it will feature a special Painted Furniture and Clock Auction to benefit graduating students.
Student artists have created unique, one-of-a-kind furniture and clock pieces that attendees can bid on during the show.
The starting bid for the clocks is $10; and the starting bid for furniture pieces is $20.
“Our student artists have spent hours creating these special pieces,” said Art Show Director and High School Art Teacher Jenna McElroy. “Your winning bid will support important scholarships for our graduating art students.”
The art show runs from 5 to 8 p.m. at the high school cafeteria and auditorium.
