Attention high school families:

This year, for the first time, the New York State Education Department (NYSED) is requiring all high school juniors to take the new U.S. History & Government Framework Regents Exam.

The high school will be administering the exam to the entire junior class as well as any other students who need to take this on Wednesday, June 1,  as scheduled by NYSED.

As a result, only students taking the U.S. History & Government class that culminates in the Regents Exam, or those that still need the exam for graduation, will be attending school on Wednesday, June 1.

There will be no classes for all other high school students to allow these students to complete the exam.

Students taking the exam will arrive at school on their regular morning bus runs, and will be transported home after completion of the exam.  Additional information regarding the exam will be shared with students.

Thank you for your attention to this important information.
