Three Class of 2020 graduates named AP Scholars

AP Exam logoCongratulations to three Class of 2020 graduates for recently being named AP Scholars by the College Board for exams taken this past May.

Every fall, the AP Program recognizes high school students who have demonstrated exemplary college-level achievement on Advanced Placement (AP)  exams.

Awards are conferred on three different levels.  Among other criteria, a student’s average AP score is calculated based on all exams taken this year and in previous years. Those exam scores are checked to see which ones count toward the various AP Scholar Awards.

Julia Ryshkewitch was named an AP Scholar. This designation is granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams.

Kyle Fratto and David Lyko were named AP Scholars with Honor. This designation is granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams.
