Congratulations to the Varsity Cheerleaders, who are now the Section IX Class B Game Day Cheer champions!

The championship is a three–peat, following the team’s Section IX title wins the two prior years!

Team members are: Jillian Babcock, Natalie Christiano, Sara Delmar, Emma Gutzeit, Cadence Larsson, Mia Lockowitz, Analise Massaro, Vicky Melton, Amelia Nasservera, Sierra Orlando, Kailee Osborne, Sara Pauls, Aivee Roach, Erin Rutyna and Emily Turnbull.

“I’m extremely proud of these girls for the hard work they put into this season’s achievements and earning the Class B Section IX Game Day Cheer Championship,” said Coach Patti Archiere. ” It was a tough division and they were on their game — leaving it all on the mat.  Their talent and ability to work together as a team, combined with their passion, positivity and perseverance —the three ‘Ps’ as they know them — are a great formula for their success.  We are proud and excited to represent Minisink Valley and Section IX at the state championship on Nov. 5.”

The team earned the title at sectionals at Cornwall High School on Oct. 25.
