On June 9, 2007, nearly 200 senior citizens gathered to celebrate a little Midnight Magic.  For the second time, the students in the high school sponsored this event for the seniors in the community.  Beginning with punch in the courtyard, the seniors were treated to an evening of food, entertainment and dancing.

The high school jazz ensemble began the evening with favorite tunes from a bygone era, including In the Mood, and My Funny Valentine.  After dinner, the DJ cranked the music up and high school students and senior citizens met on the dance floor and twirled to the tunes of Elvis Presley, the Temptations, the Four Seasons and other favorites from the 1950's and 1960's.

Thanks to all the high school students from the National Honor Society, the Student Council, the Key Club and SADD who helped.  Thanks to all of the faculty, staff, administrators and board members who came out to lend a helping hand.  A very special thank you to high school assistant principal, Ruth Casmus, who organized the effort.
