MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS THANK THEIR PTO FOR NEW GAMES IN TOWN

Lunch aide Anne Friedle knows kids! When it’s too cold or wet for outdoor recess after lunch, 40-minutes in the school cafeteria can feel like an eternity.

That’s why Mrs. Friedle seized the opportunity to apply for a $100-grant offered by the Middle School PTO to purchase board games to occupy the students indoors after lunch.

A group of sixth graders were the first to learn of the arrival of the new board games.

“It’s really exciting to have new games to play with our friends,” Maria said. “Some of the old games couldn’t be played anymore because we were missing pieces,” added Jacelyn.

“We spend most of our free time in the cafeteria in the winter, and it’s good to have more than just cards to play with,” James said. “I feel very thankful to the PTO and Mrs. Friedle,” Amelia said.

On behalf of our students, lunch aides, and school administrators, many thanks to the Middle School PTO.
