OTISVILLE STUDENTS CELEBRATED END OF 2ND MARKING PERIOD WITH ACTS OF KINDNESS

Otisville students buddied up across grades and to celebrate the end of their second marking period on Friday, January 27.

With Valentine’s Day around the corner, students made valentines for children at Westchester Children's Hospital and for seniors at local nursing homes. Older students were paired with younger ones to talk and create crafts and decorations as a team. Other activities included learning about animals and making a paper salamander together.

End of marking-period celebrations are part of Otisville’s PBIS program (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports), which takes a proactive approach to helping all students achieve social, emotional and academic success. (Additional Photos)
