APPRECIATION FOR OUR SCHOOL NURSE, MRS. BLACK

Just what does a school nurse do?  Bandage scraped knees?  Take a temperature when a student is feeling under the weather?  Provide a pat on the back to a student who needs a little extra reassurance to get through the days?  To stand in Nurse Black's and Nurse Millers' office, you'd be amazed at the ground they manage to cover during the course of a day!  Their duties are as vast as the colors of the rainbow, and yet they manage to bring compassion and a caring spirit to each and every individual who walks through their doors, even going beyond the call of their duties when necessary.

May 12 is School Nurse Day.  Today, we recognize Mrs. Black, intermediate school nurse, for the many things she does!  Thank you for extending the care and concern to each individual child here at Minisink Intermediate School!  It is very appreciated!
