High School’s FBLA begins annual November food drive to aid needy area residents

The High School’s Future Business Leaders of America (FLBA) Club is running a food drive beginning today, Nov. 1, through Nov. 22.

All collected items will benefit Minisink Cares, the community-based program that provides support to families throughout the school year.

Student with food itemsAcceptable items include boxes of pasta and
canned proteins (tuna, chicken), canned entrees (beef stew, ravioli), canned fruit in juice, canned pasta sauce, canned soup, canned 100 percent juice and
cereal.

Non-food items include bathroom tissue and paper towels.

Please do not donate home canned food, outdated food or food without labels.

To make arrangements to drop off items, email advisor Seth Johnson at sjohnson@minisink.com In-house donations can be dropped off at the FBLA Office in Room 119.

“Every item donated will benefit someone here in the Minisink Valley community,” said Mr. Johnson. “This is an annual event and FBLA is very proud to be of aid to residents of our community.”
